Yes. Midi2Macro is available for both Windows and MacOS 😊
Not yet unfortunately. It's something on our roadmap, but we can't make any promises.
No. Midi2Macro can run entirely offline. No internet connection is needed for activation or for running the program.
We have not yet submitted Midi2Macro through Microsoft's App Certification Program. The process is quite pricey and since Midi2Macro is still a very small project, the costs are prohibitive for us at this stage.
Midi2Macro does not try to steal any of your data and does not contain malicious code - we just want to make your life easier 😊
Unfortunately not at the moment.
While rotary knobs are easy to detect, linking them to anything useful is challenging as it requires direct integration with either Operating System controls or specific programs such as Premiere Pro.
We are looking at how we can support them in the future 😊 Linking to any OS or program specific controls, e.g. scubbing in Premiere Pro or Volume in Ableton Live, require custom drivers between Midi2Macro and those proprietary software tools, which is not currently supported.
Unfortunately not yet.
Midi2Macro triggers shortcuts or events that are visible to all other programs running on your computer.
There is currently no option to have the triggers only be sent to specific, or the currently selected, program.
